Two years ago, we launched the Shoulder and Elbow Project at Clínica Sagrada Familia with a clear objective: to provide a highly specialized and personalized approach to the treatment of shoulder injuries.

Since its inception, the project has evolved steadily, combining advanced technology, surgical expertise, and comprehensive clinical follow-up. In 2025, we reached an important milestone: more than 200 rotator cuff repairs performed arthroscopically, consolidating a working model based on precision and individualized patient care.

Each patient begins their treatment with a detailed ultrasound assessment performed during the consultation, allowing us to accurately evaluate the injury and plan surgery in a precise and personalized manner. This initial diagnostic step is essential to optimize surgical outcomes.

During the procedure, we apply reinforced suture techniques designed to support earlier rehabilitation and significantly reduce the risk of re-tear.

The process does not end in the operating room. Ultrasound follow-up at each postoperative visit enables us to closely monitor the healing process, assess the integrity of the repair, and guide every phase of recovery with the highest level of clinical accuracy.
